Part numbering explained
The modular design of the LEMO range currently provides over 50,000 combinations of connectors with many more potential options, thus enabling customers to select the ideal precision interconnection to suit their application.
Sizes range from the Series 00 (nominal 6mm ø) to the largest size Series 6E (nominal 47mm ø) capable of handling up to 30mm diameter cable and 106 contacts.
Housing materials include metal and/or plastic.
The customer can select from a huge range of intermating shells, inserts and collets to obtain the connector that suits the application. The modular selection process is demonstrated by the part number table shown below. It illustrates how customers can select from the wide variety of components to create the exact connector for a given application.
